The biggest cost component of any VCR is the personal income of us working together as a team. Now, as a company, we are not yet at a stage where we have full transparency on who makes how much money.

We believe it is important for all of us to develop a better shared understanding of what our income consist of and what influences salary structures in different countries and learn to value the work and skills of our colleagues first.

First of all, the P&L includes a block of our income. Of course, all salaries are included in this block, but also a lot of additional costs directly related to us as employees.

<aside> 💡 This means that nothing can be more wrong than dividing this block by the number of team members and assuming that this is the average salary.

All the costs associated with each of us are included in this block. And these costs vary greatly from country to country. In addition to salary, it includes taxes, social security, health and dental insurance, life insurance, benefits such as pension plans, lunch benefits or additional costs if someone is employed via Workmotion and much more.

Taxes, benefits, and insurance vary greatly from country to country, as does the overall cost of living. This makes it nearly impossible to compare total costs per country without fully understanding the local differences and each contract in detail.

However, if a Cell collectively decides that it needs full transparency, which is necessary for a fully autonomous VCR, then of course it can request all data in detail.

This chart shows the average composition of the personell cost at OX for three different countries:

This chart shows the total amount of the average personell cost at OX for the same role / position in the 3 different countries from above. As we can see, based on benchmarks, salaries typically vary from country to country as well as the other components of the personell cost vary significantly.

There may be countries with a higher cost of living that affect the average salary in that country. As an international company, we understand that this comes with country-specific salary structures and other personell-related costs.
